How to play
Six cosy pairs are hidden under twelve cards, set out in four rows of three: a baby, a mother holding her baby, a teddy bear, a bottle, a yellow heart and a shining star. Turn over two at a time; matched pairs stay up with a soft green ring, and the counter at the top shows how many you've found. Two pictures show a baby, one alone and one in a mother's arms, so check which is which before you flip the second card.
About this game
These pictures show the little things that may soon fill your days, and many mothers enjoy a quiet daydream as they play. You might name each picture aloud as it turns over, as if showing it to your baby: a gentle bit of Garbh Samvad, or talking to your baby, woven into play. There's no hurry, so enjoy the pictures as much as the matching.
